Welcome to SB Racehorse Rehoming

At SB Racehorse Rehoming, we’re passionate about giving retired Thoroughbreds a second chance at life beyond the racetrack.

Founded by Sharon Blake and based in the beautiful South West of England, we are a family-run yard dedicated to the careful retraining, rehabilitation and rehoming of racehorses from all walks of life. What began with helping place a handful of horses from one yard (Sharon’s Husband, Michael Blake Racing) soon grew into a trusted and recognised service, now supporting trainers, owners and private homes from across the country.

Our mission is simple: to give every horse the time, understanding and care they deserve as they transition into a new chapter. Some come to us ready to move straight into a second career, while others need rest, confidence-building and gentle rehabilitation first. Whatever their story, each horse receives patient handling, knowledgeable support and a calm environment to settle, grow and thrive before finding the right long-term home.
